Add/Update Information: Fawaz Abdalki - Director

A Syrian television director, born in 1953 in the city of Qamishli in northern Syria. He began his career as a folk dancer in the Umayya troupe and then in the Television Troupe. Then he studied directing in London for five years and returned to Syria and began working as an assistant director in many series, such as Days of My Rescuer Father (1995) and Missing Painting (1996). Then he began directing with two joint Syrian-Tunisian productions, the series Hanzala Rehana's Father (1995) and The Flag and the Rain (1996). He died on April 20, 2000.
