Canadian actor born on December 23, 1971 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He achieved fame in the 1980s through films such as The Lost Boys (1987), Lucas (1986), and Silver Bullet (1985). He nearly died in 2001 when he had a drug-induced stroke and was taken to a university hospital in California, where he survived. Then, he joined rehabilitation programs to overcome addiction, but he did not get rid of it until 2004 after moving to Toronto. He struggled with drug addiction throughout his career and later died of pneumonia on March 10, 2010.
