An Italian actor, born in Naples, Italy. He graduated from the Accademia Nazionale di Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico. He was known for his collaboration with his brother Aldo Giuffrè, who began working with him in the theater in 1947. He played the role of Geppetto in Roberto Benigni's Pinocchio (2002). His other credits include Madame (1961) and Son contento (1983). In 2007, he was honored for his career, while his last appearance on stage was in 2015, three years before his death.
