Shaimaa Saied |
A Syrian writer, born in the coastal city of Jableh, Syria, in 1952. He graduated from Damascus University in 1975 and began his work on radio and television the following year. He was appointed as a war correspondent in Southern Lebanon and published his collection of poems "Pastorals". His TV credits include Searching for Salah Ad-Din (2001), Truth Flags (2010) and Bani Hashim's Moon (2008). He wrote musical plays that achieved great success. |
