Maryam Nouhy |
Jordanian actor and director of Palestinian descent born in Halhul, Palestine in 1955. He earned a bachelor's degree in Performing Arts from the Academy of Arts in Egypt in 1979. He was a member of the Artists Syndicate. He has a number of publications and studies, including "The History of Theater in Jordan" for the International Encyclopedia of Theater. He participated in many festivals such as Zurich Festival and London International Festival of Theatre (LIFT). He appeared in Blood Brothers (2014), directed The Daily Life of Abu Awwad S4 (2008), and was in the wardrobe and art department on Humor in the Arab Heritage. He received a number of awards and certificates of appreciation such as King Abdullah II Medal for Creativity. He died on November 27, 2017.
