An actor, born in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, USA in 1953. Richard graduated from Bethel Park High School in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1971. He is best known for his voice performances in Disney films, most notably Beauty and the Beast (1991), where he performed the voice of Gaston. His most famous work includes the series Great Performances (1989), and House of Mouse (2001-2002), as well as the video game King's Quest (2015). Richard was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award for Actor in a Principal Role in a Musical for Carousel at the Marriott Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, in 1985.
