Christina Aziz |
A Kuwaiti writer, born in 1948. He graduated from Kuwait University and obtained a doctorate in Arabic literature from Ain Shams University in 1971. He practiced journalistic writing in art criticism for a long time and presented many literary and critical studies. He participated in many literary seminars.
He was assigned as a professor of criticism, literary studies, and Arabic language at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, among other positions. He was a member of the Popular Theater Troupe, the Journalists Association, the Writers Association, the Kuwaiti Society for Specialized Studies and Research, and the Writers Union in the United Arab Emirates.
He headed the cultural section of Sout Al Khaleej magazine, among others. He wrote short stories and theatrical texts, such as the two plays The Rape of Amber, and The Authority. He also wrote several literary and critical books. He is known for Clouds in the Sky (1985). He died on May 22, 2003.
