Sacha Baron Cohen is a British comedian, actor, writer and satirist. His characters interact with interviewees, usually political or public figures, who are unaware that he is in character and setting them up for big jokes at their expense. In his feature film "Borat" (2006), Cohen, who wore one smelly suit throughout the film's production, traipses around America in the hopes of finding his dream bride, Pamela Anderson. Borat's shocking behavior is a vehicle for exposing various aspects of American culture like homophobia, racism, xenophobia, materialism, etc. He made a similar feature about his other character "Bruno" (2009), about Bruno's quest to bring his fashion show to America. Cohen has won two BAFTA Awards for "Da Ali G Show," and many Emmy nominations, an Oscar nomination for Writing Adapted Screenplay, and a Golden Globe for Best Actor for "Borat." After the releases of these two films, Cohen decided to retire the two characters, as their global exposure ruined the element of surprise and anonymity so crucial to his act. Cohen has appeared in a number of successful features, including "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" (2006) and "Les Miserables" (2012). He is married to actress Isla Fisher.
