Canadian screenwriter, born in 1941 in India. He is the son of an Iraqi Jewish refugee of the 1941 Farhud in Baghdad. He attended Cathedral School in Mumbai, and his family moved to Iran, where he attended the Community School in Tehran. He moved to the United States for university. He graduated from Boston University in 1970 and moved to Canada. He is known for In Darkness (2011).
