She is an Egyptian singer, who was born on February 25, 1971 in Giza. She joined the Conservatoire at the Academy of Arts in Cairo and studied playing the harp instrument until she obtained a bachelor's degree. She was encouraged by composer Ammar El Sherei, who composed her first album. She sang in works such as the series Garden City Ladies (1997-1998) and the movie Execution Squad (1989). She acted and sang in the movie, Cut and Paste (2007).
