A Syrian director, born in Damascus in 1972. He has held many exhibitions in the field of photography. He produced and directed his debut piece, Harvest of Light, in 1997, and followed it with a number of short films, in addition to his first feature film, I Am the One Who Brings Flowers to Her Grave (2006), which he co-directed with Hala Alabdalla. His other credits include Aspirin and a Bullet (2011) and Kaleidoscope (2015). His films were screened in important film festivals, such as the Venice and Sao Paulo International Film Festivals. |
