An Egyptian folk singer who started her artistic career at the end of the fifties and joined the Reda Folklore Troupe. He gained wide fame with her song "Ya Hazrat Al-Omda." She sang in Blood on the Nile (1961) and Game of Love and Marriage (1964). She also recorded songs in the Iraqi dialect and combined Egyptian and Libyan dialects in a number of songs. |
