An Egyptian singer who started her artistic career in the late fifties and joined the Reda Dance Troupe. She gained wide fame with her song "Ya Hadret El Omda." She sang in the films Blood on the Nile (1961) and Game of Love and Marriage (1964). She also recorded songs in the Iraqi dialect and combined Egyptian and Libyan cultures in a number of songs. |
