Director, author and producer, born in Los Angeles, on August 13, 1968. He earned a bachelor's degree in social sciences at the University of California and a master's degree in political science at the University of Chicago. He studied cinema and graduated from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, and then also earned a master's degree in filmmaking at New York University in 1998. His most famous works are the short film Bus to Queens in 1998, Maria Full of Grace in 2004, The Forgiveness of Blood in 2011 and Ray Donovan's series from 2019-2020.
