An Egyptian TV presenter, born in Cairo. She obtained a BA in commerce in 1988. Her sister is the late media figure Ahlam Shalaby, who introduced her to the media field. She is one of the first presenters who worked on satellite channels. She started her career in the magazine Ladies and Gentlemen, then the editor-in-chief, Hala Sarhan, offered her to work in the Arab Radio and Television Network, which was broadcast from Rome, so she accepted the offer and traveled to Italy and worked for the channel ART Films, during which she presented many programs from 1993 to 2011, including the program ART Eyes. In the summer of 2011, she moved to the private Egyptian media through El Nahar TV Network. She is the widow of actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz.
