Safwan Nasser El Din is an Egyptian writer and director born in 1989, Alexandria. He joined the Future Protectors Association in Alexandria, where he wrote and directed several films to address the issue of addiction and encourage self-sufficiency. His production debut was the short movie "Some Blood". His film "The Victim" was screened at the Cannes Film Festival in 2014 and was a big success. He is also known for Proud to Be An Arab, and Egypt Is Sold.
