An American documentary film director and cinematographer, born in 1969. He studied at Yale University. His credits include The Island President (2011) and An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth to Power (2017). Jon was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject for Lead Me Home in 2022. In 2003, he won the Golden Gate Award at the San Francisco International Film Festival for Lost Boys of Sudan, for which he also won the Crystal Heart Award at the Heartland International Film Festival Award. |
