L. Frank Baum was an American author and producer, born in May 15, 1856 in Chittenango, New York, USA. He was known for writing children's stories such as his most famous one The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900). The story was adapted into many production versions such as The Wizard of Oz (1939). His other credits include the TV series Emerald City (2017). He died on May 6, 1919, in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
