A Syrian poet and writer, born in the city of Deir ez-Zor in 1943. He obtained a BA in Arabic Literature in 1968. He's known for the TV series Fun TV (1981). He died after a struggle with illness on November 24, 1992 in Damascus. A large memorial ceremony was held for him on the fortieth day of his death in Al Hamra Hall in Damascus, as well as in the Arab Cultural Center in Deir ez-Zor. |
