An English cinematographer, born in 1948 in London. He started his career as a camera trainee at BBC-TV's Ealing Studios. In 2012, he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to television and film. For his work on Elizabeth, he was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Cinematography. He is known for Elizabeth (1998), Everest (2015), and Match Point (2005). |
