Dalia Saad |
A Canadian composer, born on October 18, 1946, to a Jewish family in Toronto, Canada. He studied music at Berklee College of Music in Boston. He is married to Elizabeth Cotnoir and has one daughter. Shore provided the scores for a number of famous Hollywood movies, such as Philadelphia, Dogma, and The Aviator, winning for the latter a Golden Globe Award. Since the Canadian horror film The Brood (1979), he has collaborated closely with Canadian director David Cronenberg. His score for the film Naked Lunch saw him collaborate with renowned avant-garde jazz musician Ornette Coleman. |
