A British cinematographer of Jewish descent, born in Warsaw, Mazowieckie, Poland. His father was cinematographer Wolfgang Suschitzky. Despite music being his passion, he decided to pursue a career in cinematography while studying at the Institute for Advanced Cinematographic Studies in Paris, France. He's a member of the American (A.S.C.) and British (B.S.C.) Societies of Cinematographers. He was the cinematographer in many of David Cronenberg's films. Among his credits are The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Mars Attacks! and eXistenZ. |
