An Australian singer and actress, born in Melbourne, Australia, on May 28, 1968. She started her artistic career at an early age and has released many successful albums during her career, starting with the album Kylie (1988). Kylie maintained her success, and in 2001, she released her album Fever, her most successful album ever, which included the hit Can't Get You Out of My Head. In 2005, Minogue was diagnosed with breast cancer, from which she recovered in 2006.
Since her recovery, Minogue has continued to release albums and go on tours. She was appointed by the French government as a Chevalier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres for her contribution to the enrichment of French culture, in addition to her appointment as an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2008 New Year Honours for services to music.
