Romanian journalist and actress, born in Iași, Romania. She studied acting at the University of Theatre and Cinematography in Bucharest, and after graduating, she starred in the film Beyond the Hills (2012), for which she won the Best Actress award at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival in 2012. Her most important works include Rãmâi cu mine (2013-2014), Shelley (2016), Cobain (2018), and An Uncertain Border (2019).
