A Spanish actress, born on October 2, 1970, in Madrid. At the age of 13, she appeared in several television commercials and left school at the age of 15 so she could focus on her acting career. Maribel has participated in over 60 films since 1984, the majority of which are in Spanish, in addition to working on many TV shows. Her first work experience was as a model in fashion magazines. Her notable films include Y tu mamá también (2001), Pan's Labyrinth (2006), and Blancanieves (2012). She has been nominated for a Goya Award several times, winning twice. |
