He is an Egyptian author, born in 1979 in Cairo. He obtained a BA in Fine Arts and a BA from the Higher Institute of Cinema, Screenplay Department. He wrote several books for children, including the Arabic version of The Smurfs series. He also co-wrote several animated series, including "The Adventures of Zizou". He is known for the series Shams Al-Ansary (2012).
