An Iraqi writer, poet, and journalist, born in Baghdad. She began trying to write at the age of seven years but her serious start was at the age of 15. She lived between Turkey and Beirut. She wrote novels, epic stories, and tragic novels, in addition to series and films. Among her most important works is the short film Oh My Son (2010), which was a graduation project for the Higher Institute of Directing in Kuwait, and a joint work between her and the Kuwaiti director Faisal Al-Harbi. Also, an Iraqi film was filmed between Baghdad and Sweden under the title, Where is the Escape? Her story, Integrity of the Poor in an Era of Misfortune, also participated in the Dubai Short Story Festival.
