He wanted to be a criminal defense attorney, but he worked in the field of audio engineering for a number of radio stations and founded a studio in Tennessee. He produced music for a number of artists, such as Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison. His credits include Boss Level (2020), The Outsiders (1983), and Mystery Train (1989).
