Lithuanian actress, born in Vilnius, Lithuania, when it was part of the Soviet Union. She grew up loving cinema and theater, where she studied acting at the Lithuanian State Conservatory, where she graduated with a degree in Theater Arts. She has gained international fame with works such as Express 'Moscow - Russia' (2014) and Mathilde (2017). She also participated in Burnt by the Sun (1994), which won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film. She is also known for Mission: Impossible (1996), Kiss of Life (2003), which was shown at the Cannes Film Festival, and Seven Years in Tibet (1997).
