A Japanese actress, based in London. She studied Political Science at Waseda University, Tokyo. She has worked on TV and radio as a presenter and reporter. She then moved to the United Kingdom where she obtained her MA in Directing at Royal Holloway, University of London. She did further training in Drama at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She is known for You Are Welcome (1998), Silent Witness (2011), and After the World Ended (2015).
