An Egyptian visyal artist and documentary film director, born in Cairo, Egypt. She obtained a BA from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Graphic Department (Designs Division), Helwan University, in May 2003. She also earned a Master of Arts with a thesis titled "Symbolism in Ancient Egypt," from a university in France in 2004. Her credits include the short documentary No Approaching or Filming, as well as the documentary The Custom (2013).
