An American basketball player and actor, born in New York, on February 17, 1963. After finishing high school, he received a basketball scholarship from North Carolina University. He left his university studies, to which he later returned, in order to join the Chicago Bulls.
In 1993, 3 months after the murder of his father at the hands of a gang, Jordan announced his retirement from basketball. The following year, He announced his return to sports, not basketball, but baseball, and he joined the Chicago White Sox, but he barely completed a year and then announced his return to basketball, retiring again in 1999. Jordan returned to basketball again in 2001, but this time, he joined the Washington Wizards, completing only two seasons, and then he retired permanently. As an actor, Jordan's most notable work is the 1996 movie Space Jam.
