An American actress, born in Memphis, Tennessee, on February 18, 1950. She started modeling at a young age after she won the Miss Teenage Memphis contest in 1966 and then the Model of the Year contest in 1968. She became a fashion icon, appearing on the cover of magazines, and served as a spokeswoman for L'Oréal. This led her to acting, making her debut in 1971. Cybill went on to appear in The Heartbreak Kid (1972) and Taxi Driver (1976). She took a break after the birth of her daughter Clementine Ford and returned to acting in 1983 in the television series, Fantasy Island in 1977. She co-starred with Bruce Willis in Moonlighting (1985-1989), for which she won two Golden Globe Awards, and won a third for her role in her own series Cybill (1995).
