An American writer of Sicilian origins, born in Pennsylvania and raised in New Jersey in the United States of America. He studied at Eastside High School, before joining Paterson State College, now known as William Paterson University, where he obtained a degree in anthropology. He also served as an FBI agent for seventeen years. He is known for Donnie Brasco (1997), El Dandy (2015), and Falcone (2000).
