An American actor, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States, to a father who works as an architect. He had three children. He studied at the Buckingham Browne & Nichols School before moving to the Cambridge School to complete high school, and then he joined Tulane University. His colleague was the film director Bruce Paltrow. He majored in theater and English and obtained a Master of Arts from Boston University. His works include Dead Poets Society (1989) and Kazaam (1996).
