A Yemeni football player, born in Aden on September 16, 1940. He came to Egypt at a young age, where he joined its schools. At the age of 18, he joined Zamalek Club in 1958 and played in the Egyptian League and Cup until 1966. He achieved many championships with Zamalek Club. He is considered the first Yemeni player to play outside Yemen. He won the league's top scorer several times. He joined the Egyptian Military College and graduated as a Yemeni officer, where he returned to his country and worked as a teacher at the Yemeni Military College and reached the rank of advisor to the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Yemen. He trained several Yemeni and Somali clubs and led the Yemen national team in 1975. The famous sports critic, "Naguib Al-Mistakawi" called him "Ali Atlas" in relation to the Atlas brand missile, as his kick to the ball was at the speed of the missile. He participated in the movie City's Talk in 1964 and played the role of Essam's friend. He died on November 26, 1993.
