A Russian actor, born in Chernihiv, Ukraine. He graduated in 1961 from the Kharkiv Theater Institute, appeared in many Russian theaters, and acted in many international plays, such as The Taming of the Shrew by Shakespeare, and The Marriage by Nikolai Gogol. His most important works include the films Viktor (2014), The Barber of Siberia (1998), and Luna Park (1992). He died on February 22, 2017, in Moscow, Russia.
