Dalia Saad |
An American actor, born on November 4, 1919, in the Bronx, New York. He was trained at the Dramatic Workshop of The New School in New York. At the outbreak of World War II, he served in the US Army, and after the war, he worked in the Radio City Music Hall in New York City. He joined the Actors Studio in 1947, then he went on to work in Broadway theaters. He played small roles on television and then turned to cinema, participating in movies such as 12 Angry Men (1957) and Psycho (1960). He won an Academy Award for his role in the movie A Thousand Clowns (1965). He went on to appear in European movies, especially Italian ones. Balsam died on February 13, 1996, in Rome, Lazio, Italy. |
