Add/Update Information: Valeria Sarmiento - Director

A Chilean film editor and director, born in Valparaiso, Chile. She studied philosophy and filmmaking at the University of Chile in the 1960s. She moved to Paris in 1974, and her documentaries and feature films tend to address gender politics in Latin America. Her first directorial experience was in the documentary Un sueño como de colores (1972). Some of her credits are Lines of Wellington (2012) and Notre mariage (1984).
