A German actor, born in Hanover, Germany, the son of a music teacher and oratorio singer. He was trained in dancing. He made his first appearance performing ballet at the Hanover Opera, and after attending acting lessons, he changed his path. He began working in romantic films, then his roles varied between comedies, dramas, and others. Some of his credits are Fanfaren der Liebe (1951) and No Greater Love (1952).
