An Iranian producer and writer, born in Iran. He studied graphic design at the College of Fine Arts, University of Tehran. He served as a jury member at several festivals, such as the Carthage Film Festival in Tunisia. He is known for As Simple as That (2008) and Today (2014). His debut feature film, The Child and the Soldier (2000), received several national and international awards, and his second feature, Under the Moonlight (2001), won the Critics Week Grand Prize at the 2001 Cannes Film Festival. |
