An American novelist and lawyer, he is known for his popular legal thrillers. He has written 28 consecutive number-one bestsellers, and his books have sold 300 million copies worldwide. He is one of only three authors to have sold two million copies on a first printing. Among his works are: A Time To Kill (1996), The Firm (1993), and The Client (1994).
