An American screenwriter, director, and actor, and he is considered one of the pioneers of screenplay in America. Shane Black contributed with his books to many successful films. His grow up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and then his family moved to Fullerton, California during his second year in high school. There, he joined Sunny Hills High School. Shane debuted in American cinema as an actor in 1986, and the following year he made his first writing experience through the movie Leathal Weapon (1987). He is known for acting in Iron Man 3 (2013), and The Nice Guys (2016).

He began his career as an actor in 1986, and the following year he made his first authorial debut with the movie (Lethal Weapon), which was followed by his second and third parts. In 2005, he made his first directing experience with (Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) and earned his reputation after writing and directing the third part of (Ironman) in 2013.
