An American writer, born in Quincy, Michigan, United States. She began her career in Hollywood by writing screenplays. She also headed her own production company with her husband, Laurence Trimble. After that, she worked as a screenwriter under contract and became known for her romantic comedy films. Among her works are Flapper Wives (1924) and What Price Hollywood? (1932), for which she received an Oscar nomination for Best Writing, Original Story.
