An Egyptian actor and broadcaster who graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture, Zagazig University, and joined television as an assistant director on Channel Three. He became a director and producer for the program The Poets' Forum. He became a member of the Film Professions Syndicate, Directing Department. He is known for Hala and the Dervishes (1994), My Heart Is My Guide (2009), and Safia's Case (2010).
