An Indian cinematographer, born on February 8, 1964 in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital of Kerala. His father is the director and cinematographer Sivan, he runs Sivan Film Studio. He graduated in 1984 from the Institute of Indian Film and Television in Pune and is now one of the most sought-after cinematographers for South Indian, Indian and international films. He turned to directing, beginning with the short film The Teplow Story (1988), which was soon followed by a series of feature films. Among his most known works are: Ashoka the Great (2001), and Bride and Prejudice (2004). |
