An American actor, who is best known for his role in the biographical film I'm Not There, in which he portrayed Bob Dylan, for which he received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Franklin appears in the film as a homeless guy and performs Dylan's song, When the Ship Comes In. He also appeared in the film Lackawanna Blues (2005), Be Kind Rewind (2008), and The Inevitable Defeat of Mister & Pete (2018). |
