A South African writer, born in 1945 in Cape Town, South Africa. She graduated from the University of Cape Town with a bachelor's degree in English Literature and Speech and Drama before going on to earn a law degree. Ann moved to Los Angeles with her family following her teaching position at the University of Cape Town's Law Faculty. She is known for The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), The First Grader (2010), and A Lesson Before Dying (1999). She has 5 children. |
