A Syrian director, writer, and head of the Children's Film Department at the General Cinema Foundation, born in Damascus. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Literature from Damascus University. She also holds a directing certificate from the Radio and Television Training...Read more Center of the Arab States Broadcasting Union in Syria for the year 2003. She is a member of the Arab Producers Union in Tehran. She was a jury member in a number of festivals such as being in the jury of the 10th Gulf Festival for Radio and Television Production 2008. She was honored in Algeria on International Women's Day 2009 and received a shield of honor for her entire body of work in television and cinema. Her works include an animated film entitled The Thread of Life, which won the Golden Award at the Cairo International Children's Festival. Her television credits include Woman in the Shadow (2003) and Bread and Salt (2003). She also directed several music videos and short advertising and dramatic films for television, such as the music videos "Ya Ghali" by Mayada Beselis and "Yuseid Sabahk" about the children of the Intifada.
