American comedy writer, born on February 8, 1949 in Seattle, Washington, USA. He attended High School in Renton, Washington. He debuted his career with Saturday Night Live in the mid-1980s. He is known for the animated series The Simpsons (1989) and The Simpsons Movie (2007).
