Scottish actor and writer, born on November 10, 1941 in Greenock, United Kingdom. He trained at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He worked in a wide range of film, television, theater and radio roles, including: The Last King of Scotland (2006), Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and Eye of the Needle (1981).
